Things to Do in Rohnert Park, CAJuly 2026

Fireworks on the lawn, country nights at the casino, a small-town farmers market, and red-white-and-blue fun for the whole family.

There is no better place to spend the heart of summer than Rohnert Park. July rolls in with the biggest fireworks show in Sonoma County, a star-studded concert lineup at the Green Music Center and Graton Resort & Casino, evenings under the stars at the farmers market, and plenty of free, family-friendly ways to celebrate the Fourth and the long, warm weeks that follow.

We have rounded up the best happenings around town this month, listed in calendar order so you can plan your summer with ease. Grab a flag, pack a blanket, and let us show you what is going on in the friendliest little city in Wine Country.

4th of July Fireworks Spectacular

When: Kids Zone 4:30–7 PM · Concert 7:30 PM · Fireworks to follow

Sonoma County’s biggest fireworks display returns with a bang. The Santa Rosa Symphony, conducted by Troy Quinn, joins Sonoma County’s own Transcendence Theatre Company for an evening of Broadway showtunes and patriotic classics, capped by a dazzling fireworks finale over the lawn.

Bring the whole family early for the Kids Zone, with carnival games, bounce houses, food, and music. Indoor and lawn seating are both available, and indoor guests can step outside before the show begins.

Good to know: personal fireworks of any kind are not permitted inside Rohnert Park city limits, so leave the pyrotechnics to the pros and enjoy the show.
