Things to Do in Rohnert Park, CA August 2026

Golden evenings, lawn concerts, the last markets of the season, and the Seawolves rolling back into town. Here’s your end-of-summer guide to The Friendly City.

August is Rohnert Park at its fullest — warm nights on Weill Lawn, food trucks under string lights at the plaza, cannonballs at the neighborhood pool, and a county fair just up the road. It’s the last long stretch of summer before Sonoma State fills back up and the calendar turns.

We’ve rounded up the best of it below, listed in calendar order so you can plan your month from a lawn chair. A few picks sit just past the city line in Cotati, Santa Rosa, and Sebastopol — all a short drive from home.
