August is Rohnert Park at its fullest — warm nights on Weill Lawn, food trucks under string lights at the plaza, cannonballs at the neighborhood pool, and a county fair just up the road. It’s the last long stretch of summer before Sonoma State fills back up and the calendar turns.

Recreation Swim runs on warm afternoons at Honeybee (1170 Golf Course Dr) and Magnolia (1501 Middlebrook Way) through the season; Benicia (7469 Bernice Dr) wraps its rec season around August 9.
